RP Server?

Is there a Roleplay preferred server? If so, which one and thanks.

    Sarlona and Thelanis are unofficial RP servers.

    They are not RP enforced so your best bet is to find a RP guild.

    I'm thinking about picking this game up to try it out. But I do perfer to RP as well, is there any plans for them to release a real RP server in the future?

    No, I don't think so.

    I would not worry about it since it is easy to "police" your own space within the game. After turning off the floaty names I have had no immersion breakers within the game.

    The community is compartamentalized. Once you get your little group your in your own little world.

    I suggest you read one of the player review before buying since this game is not what you may expect.

    I've been checking it's status off and on.

    I know they are doing some things different than other games, but I'm getting tired of the alternatives that are out right now. I'm just addicted to online games, and right now I've just been stuck with WoW. So after work I may swing by the store and pick up DnD .. I love the fact you have to group, but other things as well I'm not the most fond of.

    I'll see.

    Yeah I recommend finding a guild as well. It's Headstart only access to the game right now, so take this with a grain of salt, but even on the "unofficial" RP servers I see very little RP going on (i.e., random chatter in Taverns, on teams etc.). Perhaps this will improve greatly once the game goes to release and more folks sign on. Personally, the best RP I've ever had in an MMO has been on City of Heroes (Virtue server). Hopefully, DDO will shape up to be as good as that.

    I checked some stores today and no luck. The guys at EB Games told me it would probably be on shelves on Wednesday. Might save you a trip.

    I didn't go out on the 28th to look. But mostly my town is low MMO population so I have good luck on getting games on release date. After yet another dull day in wow I will more than likely be giving DnD a shot. Does anyone here have a RP guild I could maybe get in?

    No luck finding the game yesterday either (the 28th). Will look again today.

    Finding a good RP guild sounds like the way to go. I think I will RP until I bump into a group in game that RP's and see if I get an invite.
