Exper banking at 50

free2playfree2play Member UncommonPosts: 2,043

Can I assume the game is banking my exper for a reason? I notice my blue bar crawls forward at a very slow but visible pace. Do I assume this is going to allocated to master/ champion levels in the event I get expacks later? Or is it just a system used to keep exper coming for relics and future champion levels?

Ummm... it just does? ;) Ok, crappy answer, I know, you continue gaining XP through 50 for some reason but don't ding 51. Always been that way, always will, I've never heard an official reasoning for it, I'll try to dig one up, but something thats been around that long I'm not holding my breathe on getting an answer. :)

OK, it is just a carry over function. That's cool, it makes more sense to cap out bubbles at 50 than to stop exper gain. For all the after 50 requirements for exper etc. I was just wondering if I was going to get a surge of expack levels based on my exper gained now.

I know from level 5, if you keep killing, you bank it, even after all bubbles are full. Though it would be a long and pointless grind, you could actually start spec proff at level 8 or 9 if you wanted to keep killing at 5.

Even at level 5 there's a point where you stop gaining XP. I made that mistake on one of my early toons, was in a great group so just kept killing after I dinged 5 and filled all the bubs etc. Hours went by, should have had enough XP to EASILY ding 12 or so by time I went and picked my class and trained. Alas no, not even close. :(
