now that i think about it, this game looks much more promising than WoW

I don't know why i was supporting wow at the begingin

who else thinks this game is gonna pwnerz?

    So are you guys going to post what server you are going to join when it comes out?  Or will you be secretly running around about the masses?

    yea..

    ill probably say what server kiamde and i are on

    then all the others can come running to us after they've tried wow, and found out it sucks

    thenn they canc ome and send us ttell's to hlep them out

    then we can laugh at them

    Ha!  Me too.  They should make a feature where people from different servers get to fight each other while representing their server...

    Except it should change the game from a click / cast / melee to an actuall 3-D fighter.  I think they should hook up with Midway so they can use the "Finish Him!" and "You are Pathetic!" sound clips...hehe

    All you have to do is look at the screenshots of EQ2 and WoW

    Hmm...EQ2...incredible

    WoW...average

    Ultima X looks way more promising than WoW

    i barely run an acceptable FPS with EQ1 with more than 10 people in front of me, and I have a fairly good system. I have no faith EQ2 will be anything but a slideshow, so I remain skeptical until I see more reviews.

    i was VERY satisfied w/ EQ, so im deffinately gonna get EQ2

     Sooo many new MMORPG's coming out i'm not sure what to get...

     I feel like a kid in a candy store!!!

     As opposed to 2003 with the short amount of mmorpg's, i felt like a kid forced to eat brocolli.

    definetly eq2 is going to set a new standard for all mmorpg's

    i don't know why some of you guys are still crazy for wow..

    i mean sure, it might turn out good, but eqii will turn out better no doubt

    I am planning on playing EQ2 and WoW...I really will never understand why people have to make out that you can only play one mmorpg. That just creates pointless and childish threads about whose game is better than whose.. "ooh..ooh I am so big and tough, my game is better than yours ner ner"....sheesh.

     

    I think both games look promising, EQ has a proven track record at mmorpgs and can hopefully learn from the mistakes they made in EQ, and Blizzard has a proven track record at providing quality games. Frankly I dont give a damn which game has the best graphics..I pretty much grew out of basing games on what they look like about the same time I reached maturity. Gameplay > graphics.

    Yep...definately playing both games.

    I would have a hard time playing 2 games because I wouldn't be able to make a choice about which one to play every night :(

    It's also not necessarily bad if people compete with each other over whose game is better.  People actually make some good points every once and awhile.  I also couldn't afford playing 2 MMO's at once so basically I have no choice.

    I very commonly play 2 mmorpgs at a time. I just alternate which one I am playing on any given night.

    Good points about games are often made on various forums, though it seems that all too often it boils down to the "my dad is better than your dad" kind of an argument.

    I suppose there is the money issue for some, although £8 per mmorpg doesnt create much of a dent in my wallet. For 2 a month thats a mere £16, hell I spend more than that in one night at a bar. :)
