Okay, this is gonna sound like roleplay or whatever buy here it goes, this is what I want to do in a game.

Sitting atop a tree in a forest leering down a path which travelers pass. Waiting for the unsuspected pray. In stealth only to attack him from behind and robbing him of his riches. Before he knows what hit him, whatever it was already dissapeared in the deep fog in the forest.

(forgive me if that sounds cheesy but that is the kind of person i would like to play, that or a ranger in the same situation scouting the enemy, this all being a sort of PvP)

UXO is closest to what you (and me for that matter) are looking for. Instead of sitting there in combat auto attacking your constantly running around attacking monsters. So if you see a monster on your friend you could jump from behind a tree and attack it or something...

Why not try UO now, since it's out and available. When UXO will be out nobody knows, probably not even the devs. UO, back in the days before the shard fracture, was rife with PK gankers and thieves. I hated it, because I hated PvP, but it sure was an adrenaline rush any time you saw the title Dread Lord anywhere on your screen...especially if you were exploring far from town.

Problem with UXO: You can't PK anyone. It clearly states that you cannot attack anyone without their consent.

That one sentence turned me off to the game.

    K: 73% A: 60% S: 33% E: 33%
Anything you hate will be the root of everything you breathe.
Breathing in the dirt will leave you hating all that you conceive.
I never thought I'd be the one to bring it down to this.
My last thought is through a statement and a shattered fist.
Face down, fearless, light me up, end this.
Face down, fearless, light me up, END THIS!

Yea, in the long run it just feels meaningless and dull running around killing lifeless monsters.

Well not sure if your into Everquest but they just opened a server up that's going to be on for a month and its a contests server here is a link to the rules of of the server http://eqlive.station.sony.com/community/dev_view.jsp?id=59945

It says test there server but the server is now live. The cool thing is when you kill someone you get the satisfaction that you took them back to level 1 and you have access to ALL their stuff.

And you don't have to worry about buying everquest and paying the monthly fee to play on this server just go here to get a http://cmt.ubisoft.fr/eq_keys/uk/ this is the european publishers offer but it works anywhere and you can still access the North American servers. GL and HF if you decide to play.

The end is only the begining.
