When do you buy your first house in DAoC?

Once it bought, can it be lost in RvR?

umm.. Is it a door/portal that takes you to a  personal instance like CoV and EQ2, or more like a static building in the world like in UO?

 

Oooh, and where is DAoC official forums.. I looked all over their site and can't seem to locate it.

There are no offical DAOC forums. A very good decion on their part.

There is a FAQ up top that has info about housing.

Anyway there are housing zones. They are near your capital city. You can teleport there as well. You need to purchase the land and then purchase a house deed (this builds you house). You then need to pay weekly rent on the house.

The cheapest land you will find is 300gp. The cheapest house is 1plat. Rent on that house is 20gp a week.

You can buy a house as soon as you have the money to get one.

The only way you can loose your house is by not paying rent.

You cannot loose anything by dying in RvR.
