BiosFear and Savage Eden

lobeslobes Member UncommonPosts: 127

I played BiosFear back when it was in beta and free. Savage Eden was also in the same stage, and there was some confusion as to why there were two different versions of the same game. And from what I remember, BiosFear is the European version, and Savage Eden is the North American version.

But I digress, I see they are both still alive, and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on their status? How are they doing? Do they have high subscription numbers? Anyone currently playing them that can tell me if they've been patched and/or updated with any regularity?

Thanks.

They are under completely different development and publishing companies (E I Communications Corp · NAKO Interactive Co., Ltd. for Savage Eden, and Tiscali Games GmbH for BiosFear). So they are completely separate, not just "named differently" as you claim.

Savage Eden is even running a promo that will allow you to transfer your characters from BiosFear to Savage Eden. However, I went to their credit card info page (http://www.savageeden.com/bfcc.htm) where you put in your credit card details, and noticed its not even ussing SSL encryption. Thats not good.

There is another name for this game, Laghaim (which I think is the original).
