Oh well, I got bored of WoW. It's a nice game i have to say, very well done, but the boredom once you're 60 AND the childish community killed my lust to play.

Anyway, after a while, i have to say... I realizd that I missed Atys, the Ryzom world.

I missed its universe, its very frendly (and educated) community, this feeling of freedom (both in terms of character's development and within the world), I missed this immersive world.

So i decided to come back, just for the joy of it. I have to say I'm very pleased of what the game has become. Less bugs, more content, a more tuned game, now it's getting somewhere. A still this trumendous community !

I'm realizing that i might stay for long on this game, I'm getting tired of the MMORPG hoping. I played so many of them. Now I want to play maybe less, but I want to be part of a community, on the long term. Ryzom might has what it takes to be my last mmorpg.

All the best to you

Kenshoo

    Check the sig :p

Welcome back from somone who made the exact same move less than a month ago.

Ryzom is a breath of fresh air isn't it? Took me a while to adjust back to the gameplay but man I didn't know how much I missed this game.

I've been buggin everyone I know from WoW and in RL to hit up the 7 day free trial as they have little excuse not to. I even got my former WoW guild leader to check it out. I doubt he will be joining though, too much invested in WoW at this point.

At any rate, keep encouraging folks to sign-up. I've got a Zorai on the newb island that I'm leveling crafting/harvesting up just to help out new folks. Trying my best to answer questions when asked. Sucks that the Zorai seem to be the least popular but oh well...

    See ya in game!

Man I miss Ryzom, but I'm not sure my old guild would welcome me back if I returned. Ryzom was certainly a great game and maybe I'll think about picking it up again. Hopefully, my character is still there.

Well, I left several months ago, and my character was still there, waiting for me image

Aye, I just came back after being gone since Nov '04. My chars as well as the stuff that I didn't give to the guild were all still intact. I had not logged them in since the respec after patch 1 and one of them was bugged. I reported it and a GM said he would pass it to the devs and I was all fixed within a day.

As far as what was bugged: This char was at 54 Forest/52 PR foraging, had 180 skill points to spend but I was missing basic extraction which I had started with. Just a little thing, and again, it was fixed within a day.

haha Sxarlet. I was just curious yesterday. Never mind. Its just not as it was earlier.
For me personally it was depressing. Didnt like the restrictions, and the ingame
feeling was not the same anymore. That is all i can say form the short adventure.
(Which was initiated by a friend who is bored with his game)

Fortunately they dont account resub if you cancel fast enough.
So i ll continue to play the other toon in the other game. Crafting degrades everywhere ::::01::
