Hi just quit playing wow and are playing alittle coh. but want to play some other games to so i wonder how is lineage 2 for example is it more pvp then pve? And same with rf is that a good pve game ?
Im kinda tired of pvp so want a good pve game now.
Sounds like you need to do some homework on this game. Its open PvP with a very tough PvE grind. (open PvP means anyone can try to kill you at any time, there are no "safe" little battlegrounds like in WoW) Its mainly PvE focused with PvP at just about any time any day. There are also huge castle sieges on the weekends where the guilds fight over control of the castles which directly impact the economy of the game. Its a very good game however it is NOT like WoW at all so do not go in expecting it to play anything like it.

Dude this game isnt much of a pve game even though mobs look awsome. Whats special about this game is the interface and how the game plays also sounds grafix , spells the voices characters make it has i guess a Dragon Ball Z affect. In this game you can realy let out your anger at people because they can lose so much exp by being killed by you and even if you pk someone with out them hitting you back you turn red and players will hunt you down with no penalty it adds to the excitement and if you get killled while red you have a high chance of dropping your gear.
I've been playing Lineage 2 for almost 2 years. Here are my good points and my bad points. I will start with the bad. . .
Bad Points
- You've really got to enter this game with an open mind. If you're a fan of WoW or EQ, you've got to forget about those games before starting Lingeage 2. - This is a hardcore game. Casual player will not have much success in Lineage 2. - Since the game has been out a while, you will be significantly lower than most players. Plus the grind is pretty intense, so you will have a time catching up. - Because the game is open PvP, you will sometimes (not very often) have significantly higher level players kill you for no reason. - The economy is tough. While I think it is realistic (you have to work for what you get), it is also so realistic that players often ebay in-game money so they feel like they can compete.
Good Points
- There is simply no MMORPG out there that comes close to Lineage 2 graphically. - The expansions are all free. There have been 4 expansions to the game, most of which have added a tremendous amount of content. - As a new player, the lowbie areas will be a lot less congested, and you will have an easy time of it. - There are a lot of established clans, most of which will help you with advice and perhaps gear. These are advantages that long-time players simply did not have. - This is an explorable world with very, very few instances. The world is probably the biggest world in any MMORPG I have ever played. - Castle Sieges are a rush. They will really get your juices flowing.
These are but just a few points I can make about the game. One word that I can honestly say that best describes this game is "intense". No other game I have played has matched the intensity of this game. Many of my real life friends became instantly hooked on Lineage 2, many of whom had never played a MMORPG before. I highly recommend this game.
