I found a new game called Piko Island. Piko Island will be the first text-based and 3D game available online. What makes Piko Island unique is that it will allow players from both the standard 3D gaming communities and text-based communities to come together, in one truly MASSIVE game.

The game has just updated their site so it is not ready and they have also got a new forum up and running today but if you want to find out more you can ask on the forums.

Piko Island is under major redevelopment at the moment as our development team landscapes and builds the equivalent of 9,000,000 square meters of gameplay area - that is not to say that we are closed.
Over the next few weeks we will be putting on many individual events in our virtual 3D universe including shoot-em-up's, quizzes, hunts and other generally fun stuff that you should all enjoy.
Yay of course, because in true Omerta style, the game is free - You can register for a free user at http://3d.pikoisland.com/register.php and you will automatically receive the download link after registration...
If you have already registered but missed the download, not a problem - http://www.pikoisland.com/piko1.zip should sort you out with the installer. Starting the week August 7th 2006 we will be running a week long 3D point-and-click shoot-em-up game in Piko Town.
