There Battleships which costs about 900 million ISK.

tech 2 BS cost 90-100 mil 30 mil to insure
faction tech 2 BS cost 900mil to 1.2bil. still 30mil to insure
Tier 2... not tech 2. There is a difference. Faction battleships are like Tech 2 battleships. The regular old Megathron is a tier 2 battleship. The Raven is another example of a tier 2 battleship. Tech 2 is completely different.
We can agree to disagree, or we can bicker constantly... either way, I'm right.

I find a nice 3 bs spawn in one of my belts and chain the spawn while mining crokite or bistot. I can make close to a billion isk a week if all i did was sit there and do that. Its boring though.
I use a dominix with 5 miner 2's. I armor tank and have drone modules. 5 wasp 2's can take out anything in 0.0 and my cap is never below 50% with my tank and large armor rep 2 running all the time with my miners. I also use 5 mining drones while waiting for the bs's to respawn.
Refueling a small pos is pretty cheap. I think it runs me about 17 million per week plus the couple hours it takes me to pick it all up and move it. I just broke 20 mill skillpoints and its all in pvp skills. I just started training industrial skills because i'm kind of burned out on the pvp side of things. By the time i get back into pvp i should have a few billion then its time to head to delve and shoot BoB.
I remember ratting in my first week of play, I had just under 1mil in my account. I came across a piece of loot from a tough enemy rat (in 0.7 space or thereabouts) that I sold for 135mil. I thought that was normal, but have never gotten anything remotely close since, but it was nice to be spoiled early

Yeah i remember when i first started playing and i'd get a storyline mission from an agent. Storylines usually mean implant drops . I think i sold my first implant drop for 50 million.. half way to a BS!~
Started game 2 weeks ago joined a Corp (recommended) 13 days ago been doing mining ops and missions since then, now have a Caracal Fully equiped with all i need to sheild tank and 4 heavys and 1 Nos, 8Mil ISK in the bank and about 3Mil an Hr ratting in .3 sec. i know ppl in game who got there first Bil in about 7 months of play after they got lvl 5 Production and indy skills to mine and make ships and T2 components to sell. so i'd say 100Bil is alot of ISK 1Bil is a nice amount of isk considering a frieghter costs around 800,000,000 ISK now. and 50-100Mil at less than 6 months play is good.
Just my thoughts

To be considered rich nowadays in eve you need approximately 50bn isk of easily liquidatable assets. The costs of the best bpo's and motherships / titans require investment that is out of the reach of 99.95% of the eve population individually.
I have cash and assets of approx 35bn isk. I can't afford to buy what I want.
According to a datamine by Oveur (lead dev bloke) the most cash-rich character in eve had 78bn in cash IIRC.

Damn you guys are smarter than me. I'm in empire right now, so my way of making money is :
1) Trading - Make like 3 mil an hour hauling stuff around. 2) Mining - Make like 3 mil an hour mining omber. 3) Hauling - Make like 3 mil an hour hauling for mining ops.
So you see a common theme here, I make like 3 mil an hour, in 2 hours work I have enough to buy a cruiser and risk it in 0.0 or lowsec, but I have not found a good alliance thats worth my efforts.
I have like 15 mil cash, and another 500 mil worth of modules, ships, implants, skillbooks, and stuff that I dont bother to sell.
I was working a system the other night. I had 4 belts with triple bs spawns in it. Each bs was 1.5mil +. I made over 100 mill that evening wish they were all like that hehe.
