coh/cov or swg???

in City of Heroes

i am going to play either star wars galaxies or city of heroes/villains. wich one should i pick? and why? i love star wars, but i also like super heroes

    Hands down City of Villains..it has the best character creation of any game to date..when compare to SWG..Villains all the way..

    The game Sonic for Sega Genesis is better than SWG at this point...true story

    If SWG was pre-CU or even CU, I'd say it's up to you and weigh in why both are good. But, as SWG is now, I'd say CoH all the way.

    SWG in my opinion is terrible now and in no way reflects how it use to be. Ultimatly, it comes down to personal taste.

    your arguement is so persuasive, so filled with knowledge and insight. You back up your argument very articulately, with suggestions of improvements and raising examples to glorify your position....oh wait, you didn't

    I canceled 3 accounts on swg.. trust me the game is dead.. COV/COH is a blast.  PVP is pretty fun.

    SWG in my opinion is terrible now and in no way reflects how it use to be.

    Subsitute CoH for SWG above and you'll know what I think of the people at Cryptic and their product.

    CoH/CoV sucks. CoH was once a great game, now it's just like any other average MMO around. The devs screwed their own pooch on that one.

    The difference in your reply and mine is I answered the persons inquiry. Whether you think the game is terrible or not, if given the choice, per the OP's request, would you do CoX or SWG?

    If you answer neither, then your not addressing the OP's inquiry.

    For the sake of all that is holy stay away from SWG, as it will only bring you pain.  The New Game Enhancements (NGE) have brought nothing but destruction to a once great game.  SOE ruined a game with a lot of potential with all their "fixes" so now it's a shadow if its former self and a majority of the players have jumped ship to save themselves from sinking along with the ship.  If those are your only two choices, go with CoH/CoV.  It's a good game and can be a lot of fun.  It has some down sides, but it's by far the best of the two choices.

    thoose arent my only choices, but i just think that thoose two looked like it would be the most fun to play, since i am a major star wars fan. i have played WOW before, i didnt think it was so fun, to grind and stuff. but what would you recomend then? and what are the down sides of coh/cov? i would like to know, so i dont make a mistake buying itimage
