I have been playing world of warcraft for awhile now and recently hit 60(the cap) and found that my efforts to hit 60 were stupid. There is no more war in world of warcraft it is all instanced PVP. Im quitting wow and looking for another MMORPG. One with a Free PVP enviroment, WOW has turned carebare since the Honor system and im Bored to hell with it. Anyone Have any suggestion on which an MMORPG i should try? Cause wow is retarted.

I'm just suprised it took you till lvl 60. I learned it sucked by lvl 30.
If you like SciFi. EVE is as close to FFA PVP as you can get. There are safe zones, but not nearly as many as unsafe zones. The game is about PVP, the PVE is really lame. Worst PVE of any MMO, Best PVP of any MMO. It's got a huge learning curve and the skills train over real time, whether you are logged on or not. Don't think that you can't catch up w/ the vets, because you can. There is a thread in the EVE forums here w/ a guy who killed a 2yr vet in a battleship, while he was on his trial flying a little bitty frigate.

Lmao... WoW was carebear from the beginning. In fact, that honor system was almost a step in the opposite direction of carebear.
Explain to me how WoW is carebare? Explain this "only instanced PvP? Did you not play on a PvP server? Maybe the problem was your choices, not the game. Or is it that you like to greif and since the honor system, you don't get any codos for killing people who didn't stand a chance in the first place. Maybe you should start a new character on lighteninghoof and join grevious. As their name states, all they do is greif other players.

Hardly anyone PVP's Outside the bg's in wow anymore. For fun or outside world pvp i must go to Lakeshire or something stupid were there are only level 20's. And wow look i get there kill like the 2 kids that are there and get chased away by an infinite supply of gaurds. Wow is just a grind now, grind to level, grind to get gear, then grind for honor which is for gear. PVP in bg's is not fun its just a zoo to contain real pvp in the world. Wow was decent when TM and SS was loaded with people and fighting. therefore im looking into other MMORPG's with some real free pvp.
Lets not forget Battlegrounds are worthless on smaller servers.

If you can "get into it" Eve is a GREAT MMO. You may want to try the 14 day free trial tho..... I LOVE IT!

Join Shadowbane, all you do is pvp.
Eve you roll play a space ship, sure they let you create a character but it's nothing more than nose art, then begins the reading, lots of lame missions, pointless space travel and mining.
If you wana talk shit and get your throat cut, ripped off and gang raped you need to join Shadowbane and skip the lame space accountant stuff.
Sounds like just what your lookin for.

You can find outdoor PvP in WOW. It's out there in the questing fields. Silthius. The Plaguelands. Stranglethorn Vale. Badlands. Blackrock Mountain.
Admittingly yes WOW is very about the grinding,Blizzard has spoken. That is,they listened to the whinging kids going on about griefing and needing the already in development honour system,and now the honour system is in place those same kids are whinging about a 'lack of PvP'. How hilarious. And true. They really buggered up the whole 'honour' thing. I reckon if they'd done better with it WOW would be a much better game than it is reputed to be right now.
Every now and then on my server the Horde will put up a raid,or the Alliance will try. The result is that the guard spawn per player appears,and combined with the Alliance/Horde who respond means that raid is gonna be out the window the moment you see a town. This isn't the PvP you should be trying anymore.
Instead,go and attack people's questing spots. Blackrock Mountain is always a good place to catch a Horde or Alliance guild preparing to raid BR; Silthius and Winterspring (Village) is full of Alliance-Horde peaceful questing, so go make some chaos; Stranglethorn Vale is like Vietnam (well,perhaps a little exaggeration but it's not far off) and you can be ambushed at any time. Or not. Can be tense.
There is PvP in WOW; but YOU have to make it. Don't count on Blizzard spoon feeding you. Go kill some lowbies in Tarren Mill if you have to and force a high-level response. Yesterday after failing to grab the chest in STV (Alliance chaos) I escorted a level 39 warrior away from the arena away from some greedy 60 warrior,45 hunter and a 41 paladin,all the way to BB. And despite being a 60 rogue I somewhat took down the 60 warrior.
I CREATED that PvP moment! Blizzard did not tell ME to do it,I made it all for myself.
Until you can't come up with anymore PvP ideas of your own BEYOND large-scale city/town raiding, (FORGET IT! ain't gonna happen ever again) don't criticise WOW for a lack of PvP.
It's like all these EVE-kids who say EVE is boring and no PvP happens because they got to spend time real-timing skills. Sure,but you can also GO OUT there and make your own PvP. All the stories of starter-out players owning veterans is a reality in EVE. (it can happen in WOW too...) Just like in WOW. Of course it's a little more restricted,but at least you don't lose anything in the process!
But for the record, EVE > WOW.
Regardless,WOW PvP ain't dead. It just changed so YOU had to make it yourself. Happy hunting.
I dont mean to be dispespectful but how could you not know about that until 60?
If you liked the game otherwise, why not just go to a PvP server? That should be closer to what you want. There are still the BG's but you can pick a fight anytime you want with opposing faction.
Nothing really prevents you from doing that in a non PvP server either. You just need to get the other guys to flag. Lead a group to the crossroads or something, depending on your faction. You would be surprised to see how many people will show up to a good fight.

This game is amazing
, but wont give SOE another damn dime. 
Yet another person that expects it all to be handed to them. All you have to do is organize ANY number of players on your side that you want too and go into the enemy territory and see how long you can hold your ground. Attack a village, raid a city. The only limitations are your own level of creative thinking. There is no instancing in that.
You will do fine with Eve though, in it all you have to do is sit in 0 space with a few other gankers and wait for a target to fly towards a gate your camping, target them, paint them, and fire. I think that covers your level of creative thinking in a game.

WOW is first carebear also on pvp server no risk at all and almost non excisting outdoor pvp only instand pvp very controlled always same and know what will happen pvp no surprises.
WoW is for kids and all who wanne easy as hell game farming.
If you want a real pvp game wait for DARKFALL!!!!!!!!

Agreed, I encourage anyone looking for 'real pvp' to continue waiting for Darkfall. ^_^
Ditto what Fadeus said. Like any other mmo out on the market, WoW is largely what you make it. Just because Blizzard does a great job of providing content, doesn't mean you can't create some on your own.
