There are too many EQ games now. I spent alot of money on expansion and time playing the first one. Now people are moving away to PS2 and there is going to be EQ2. They should changed what they have or work with it. I'm running outta money for all these expansion and EQ2. Alot of MMORPGs including EQ all seem to be losing people. Anyone else see a pattern?
Although I decided that LDoN wasn't something that I was interested in when I was quitting EQ anyway, I am thinking about coming back to check out Gates of Discord. It's not anything in particular about the expansion that has got my attention. I am basically just about bored enough now to go on back to EQ and see what's going on.

I'm not getting the Gates of Discord. EQLive was a great game and I'll remember it always, but its days are numbered by its sequel: EQ2. Yes, I know folks will say, "I put too much time into my character, I'm sticking with EQLive." To that, I say, "Sure, go ahead, you might be 65th level, but so is everyone else in that game. What's the point?"
Time for a new game, Folks. EQ2 is coming, and along with it about 2/3rd's the EQLive population, if not more.
Many people are gonna get Gates of Discord, but me personally probably no, but many people i knwo that are hard core pvp'ers will and they will do pretty good i think.

don't you have a prt time job?
but anyway, i don't think you guys should spend another 50 bucks, or whatever a expansion costs, because sooner or later eq2 comes out
and yes, many people will have to upgrade their machines (heck, even get new ones for that matter)
but trust me, with the new generation of gaming about to be revealed, you will like it. O will you like it.
use the money to upgrade your computer, then get eq2 once it's out, until then, continue to play eq with what expansions you have.
