Basically they took 3 seperate servers and linked them together. Now when you port into the RVR Zones (Frontiers, Battlegrounds) All three servers go to the same area, therefor more people to RVR with/against. You can also port to another server's pve areas if for example the area on your server is camped or the mob hasnt spawned yet...so if the artifact mob is camped on your server port to another server and see if its camped there. You can also chat and party with chars of the other servers but just can't be in the same guild, guilds are still 1 server specific. Also the housing districts are linked...can't find that uber item you were looking for in your servers housing? well you can port to the other 2 server's housing and search their merchants.

Thats basically it I suppose, I keep thinking I left something out but I dunno lol

Close, but not exactly.  A Cluster is a set of 2 or more servers linked together.  Each realm will share certain areas in common with the other servers.  These will be the RvR areas (NF, DF, BG), the capital, and Catacombs.  The rest of the zones are seperate.  So if you walk out into the frontier, all of the servers use the same area.  If you are doing PvE in a level 20 dungeon then it is only on that server.

You can teleport between the servers if you want to do PvE.  This is very useful for doing raids.  Instead of killing 1 dragon, you go slay 5 of them. 

With last patch, you can now have cross server guilds and alliances.  That is you could be on Igraine, but you can join a guild on Morgan and vice versa. 

So think of clustering as a partial merger of the servers.

i think that in the end Mythic will merge the clustered servers ,it would be economical wise.
