How do you guys like items in mmorpgs to be done? There are the games where items have a unique name and all of the items under the name are the same like in DAoC. Another way items are formed it like in D2 or Shadowbane, with a prefix and suffix added. I was playing FFx today when i realized that the item system in it was rather nice. It would be cool to personalize items to what you need. Some items have 3 stat slots, some come filled and others can sometimes be customized using items you find and combinig them into it.
