Great gaming experience?

How about you describe what you would consider a great gaming moment in Heroes' Journey. It can be anything. From a quest to crafting. Yes even PVP encounters are welcome here.

It could just include things that have been hinted at about game mechanics. Or what you think game play should be like. Who knows. If instead of arguing, we describe what a good time is comprised of, maybe the powers that be will take note and it could become reality.

I shall start.

Today I logged on and feel like soloing.

I go to my house from the inn I had stayed at the night before; a good way to avoid the authorities. I knew they would have been watching my house after my daring theft and the accidental demise of the items previous owner. I need a change of clothes to further avoid the notice of those I would rather have concentrating on others. After a quick change of clothing and switching out my weapons I head over to a shady character I know in another part of town. She usually has a few odd jobs that I can handle on my own. She is strictly small time.

On my way to the "job" I make a wrong turn and end up in a alley that I have never seen. My luck is great as usual. Someone has recently used this out of the way place to stash some ill gotten booty, or ill bootn gotty. It always pays in this city to check out the dark out of the way places, you never know what you may stumble upon. But as in this case you have to take the good with the bad.

As soon as I picked up what seemed to be my next months room and board the stashers picked that moment to drop by. Good thing this was a shadowy spot. Only three of them. Almost a fair fight...but for whom? Being a sneaky sort of fellow I did just that. Once behind the one that appeared the most dangerous, dangerous meaning he was very big and ugly and had a huge club in his belt, I struck. Big and ugly dropped like a rotten tree in a high wind.

Seems like now it would be a matter of a simple mop up. And if four more of their friends hadn't shown up right about then it may very well have been.

As I ran I kept a look out for anything useful, anything at all. I congratulated myself on taking to the roofs as a means of giving those non too bright footpads the slip. Thank goodness for the over grown ivy on the side of the building. They will never think to look up here.

As I ran across the rooftops I wondered at the persistence of these particular seemingly brighter than usual louts. I would need to take a closer look at my loot once I made my escape...

...well now it's time to take a look at what I had picked up in the alley. Those heavy footed lunkheads needed to pay a little closer attention to their footing. Knowing the rooftops can come in handy. So can leading you pursuers across a stretch of old dilapidated rooftops. I wonder how many if any survived the fall through the old warehouse roof. Three stories down, that has to hurt.

As I ran across the rooftops looking for a way, any way to lose the strange ghostly thing that came out of the jar I uncorked, I wondered why those morons would leave something that dangerous laying around for anyone to accidently stumble upon...

Thus ends the misadventures of my Avatar...for now...

Haven't really thought out a scenario.  I am really excited about gear, and crafting instead of manufacturing.

I would love to hear more details on the crafting system.

Not sure what I'll do honestly.
I'm very excited about the features of this game (even if it's fantasy *sigh*).
I still have several issues unresolved since little info has actually come out about the game, well... little meat. It's mostly been philosophy and fluff stuff. Once those questions are resolved for me I'm ready to go.

I think the first thing I'll do is play in the character creator for several hours. hehe Not sure what kind of look I'm gonna go for but I'm excited to get my hands on it.

Probably enter areas where I should not be at my level and run away like a screaming, frightened little girl in "double-arse mode."

(Note: you must be a fan of "The noob" to understand "double-arse mode.")
