Im not sure if anyone has already reported this bit but....
I was didling around the LucasArts game site and found this little article about LA's future Indiana Jones game for next-gen consoles...what I zeroed in on tho was this bit...
"Availability: 2007
Platform: Next-Generation Consoles
ESRB: Rating Pending
LUCASARTS ANNOUNCES NEXT-GENERATION INDIANA JONES GAME AND ITS PLANS TO ENTER THE HANDHELD MARKET WITH A PSP VERSION OF THE EAGERLY ANTICIPATED STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT II
OTHER UPCOMING HITS INCLUDE STAR WARS GALAXIES: THE TOTAL EXPERIENCE AND STAR WARS EMPIRE AT WAR.."
So yeah, I know its speculation but why would they have swg listed as part of future developed games for next generation consoles...unless it was in the works? At first I thought it might just be some old bit of info but if you look at the availability date (given it will probably be late 07, early 08 for most of these titles) its still a ways off...
Not sure this proves it but Id love to hear Smed comment on it, lol.
Oh and heres the link http://www.lucasarts.com/games/indianajones/
Comments
1. Its from may 2005
2. It says this in the same article:
Electronic Entertainment Expo – Los Angeles, CA – May 18, 2005 – LucasArts revealed today that Indiana Jones® will once again don his famous fedora with a new video game set for release on next-generation consoles in 2007. The company also announced its intention to enter the handheld gaming market, with a Sony PSP™ version of Star Wars Battlefront™ II set to join the previously unveiled PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Xbox® video game system from Microsoft and PC versions this Fall. Also coming to the PC platform are immersive online adventures in Star Wars Galaxies®: The Total Experience (May 24, 2005) and the power to command galactic forces in Star Wars Empire at War™ (Spring 2006).
This is the one you might want to pay att. to:

>>>Experience (May 24, 2005)
I agree, its plain dumb to announce a SWG expansion in the same article console games are announced.
But since when is Lucas Art smart in such things ?
Claude
Its not dumb, its just a general press release of the games being released till the next E3.
Having a rumour going over and over again, porting SWG to the consoles, then posting game related stuff in a console-release posting....tell me what this is then, IF NOT DUMB...
Claude
Doublepost (can some1 fix this site plz...)
