Darkfall's not Vaporware.  You're just hearing the silence before the storm! 

But really, my concern here is about a game that was just announced on MMORPGDOT.  Ancient World Online, http://www.solarsystemstudios.com/awo/Home.html.  I have never seen such a blatant attempt at copycatting!  It looks like the sentance structure and game concepts were lifted right out of Darkfall.  They substitute their own races- but I'm not sure they can tell the difference between races and classes-- and the graphics suck!  I'm not  normally one to criticize a game, but this just seems like a poor attempt to copy another company's excellent "game plan".    Anyone know what's up with this?image

    Lmao.... James Allsop lies about so much stuff, by the way, the guy is using RealmCrafter, he has come up with ~8 MMORPG's in the past, and not one of them has seen the light of day. The guy showed me a picture of a painting and told me it was his 3D engine. His website doesn't even deserve the publicity of being posted on this forum. In MSN conversations, he contradicts himself multiple times, mispells words like crazy, the kid is an idiot, knows nothing of game development or creation, and his RealmCrafter game will fail like all of his other games that he supposedly sold the concepts of. By the way, he never actually registers copyrights, feel free to register the copyright in the UK to his games names and then take him to court over it.

    Ha, I'm laughing with you.  Thanks for explaining the big joke.  /Delete website link.  There are over 100 MMO's on the drawing boards right now.   The kid thinks he can compete?  Give it up, James!  That was called plagairism.  Your credibility is going down the crapper.

    His credibility went down the crapper when he said he was 30 years old, and later admitted he was actually 16, I still believe he is younger due to the massive amount of contradictions he makes when talking with him on MSN. Not to mention the horrible spelling.
