Gents!

I am a newcomer to the Everquest community, and I am enjoying my stay.

..but I was curious. I have a Dwarven Guardian at level 12 at the moment.

If anyone is familiar /w this profession could I get some tips on what combat arts I should invest in, or use most occasionally, from my current level until about level 25?

Any remarks are much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Get all your taunts and defensive abilities as high as you can get them. As a gaurd your main focus should be on keeping a mob occupied while others go to town. The better your taunts are the better the DPS in your group is gonnna work.

Also make sure you mainly focus on stamina as your main stat.

doesnt matter much until you hit 20..get a full set of hvy armor to switch over to once you do hit 20..dont worry about spending a lot of money on your chare until at least lvl 30. its a waste.

    Curious..

I haven't grouped alot, so I have used my offensive stance alot.

But...what is the importance of 'Threat'? I really didn't understand that.

by threat im guessing you mean hate.. As a guardian you want to use your taunts which increases your "threat" level..but everyone calls it hate. basically the person in your group that has the most hate, is what the monster attacks..doing damage, healing, and casting buffs cause hate. Since your a guardian, you wont do the most damage, or many buffs, and your certainly not healing, your a meat shield, so you want the mob atacking you at all times...IE you taunt and keep your hate or threat lvl higher than everyone elses.
