Crucifixion

From KFR:

We're about to crucify one of the Roma Victor test team, Cynewulf, for ring-leading a gang of spawn killers in Corstopitum a month or so ago. It'll be the first of several crucifixions, which will be used as a banning and anti-griefing punishment tool.

The crucified character will appear affixed to the cross on full public display for the duration of the ban. I'll drop by with a screenshot as soon as I get a chance.

    that is AWESOME!

    question, i know that your skills deteriorate without use, will this be incorporated as well? i say they'd deserve it, but will that happen?

    LOL, GJ! Thats the most creative way I heard so far to combat unwanted ingame activity and add to the growing list of good things I keep hearing about Roma Victor and its DEV team. I didnt pre-order but once this game is finished and complete I will be getting it.

    Thought I'd drop by in the RV section :)

    As for my thoughts on crucifixion, check the comments on the news post. Anyway, I think RedBedlam's doing a really decent job, I'm looking forward to the day RV's released.

    After their time is up they will find they have died and gone to Elysium.  I agree with you that their skills should degrade during the lenght of the band just as if they were online the entire time doing nothing.  If that's the way it is now I dont know.  But I will bring it up with KFR.

    awsome idea !!!! it would be amusing to see hundreds of players banned at once for exploits/griefing and all of us could go visit and do a "Ha Ha!"

    I've been going back and forth with your game but this is one thing that might push me way over to the buying side.  Keep up the gritty realism and you will have perminate convert in me.
