It is painfully obvious that these people clinging on to SWG and writing these absurdly long posts have no life of their own...
Why would you put so much time into writing something this long over a video game?
Why would you take so much time to write this when everyone knows it will fall upon deaf ears?
I swear, some people need to vent their energy into a more productive project... These "My Ideas to make SWG Fun Again (very long)" posts seriously make my skin crawl...
It is also obvious that no one cares about different views to make SWG better, because these nerds have been spitting this shit out since July of '03...

That poster may have had a lot of good things to say - but hell if I'll ever know. No way am I reading all of that, hoping for something useful amidst piles of conjecture and prattling on about how their own personal vision of SWG's future could "omg save teh game!!1"

Its a very good post, but unfortunately it will fall upon deaf ears. Weve seen people share their idea's like this before in the past. They are "ignored" then published way down the road when its all but forgotten with SoE taking the full credit.

What's the name of that program on cable, where its just about video games? It has a female called Morgan and some sloppy knucklehead, I believe his name is Adam.
Anyway, this guy looks like when they made the nerd mold, they used him.

Dis, you lack the style to be a convincing bad guy, your brat routine isn't amusing and either your reading aptitude or your memory sucks worse than Episode One, or you'd know what I stand for. Frankly, you are exactly what I'd imagine folks like McIntyre were looking to gain with their "reading is hard, let's all hold hands and kill-lewt-repeat" strategies.
I stand for getting my money's worth.
I stand for recieiving what I was advertised.
I stand for customer advocacy groups that force business to keep to acceptible standards through use of my almighty dollar and my not so lonely voice.
In other words, I stand for not paying to be some asshole's doormat.
And it may be that what many of these guys want more than anything IS hopeless, but I respect their determination and refusal to just give up FAR more than I respect your big, vulgar and utterly unconstructive mouth. THEY are trying to change the world, in their own ways. YOU are just looking to make yourself look cooler than they do by trying to make them seem stupid and small. And all you have succeeded in doing is making yourself look less cool, more stupid and patheticly small.

Ah, but Star Wars Nerds are recognized as a bonafied cultural phenomenon, whereas MMO nerds are hardly ever even distinguishable from any other group of wormy computer geeks.

You cant spit on the remaining players, I mean you just cant. They have just as much right to continue playing as we had to quit. We made a different decision than them, why does that make them deserving of a flame or joke? I mean if the people that are playing right now are having fun and enjoying the game why is it a problem? Why does it make people pissy? Just because the "majority" of the origional playerbase quit over the NGE say it sucks, means that the remaining players are nerds, or stupid or fools? Thats a pile of horseshit.

I think you need to face the fact that these boards, this game and what SOE is going to do amounts to nothing more than a lost cause...
You claim that you do not want to be a "doormat", yet the way you act would suggest you are something much less than a doormat...
Perhaps if you were championing some greater cause, something you could actually make a difference with, then maybe I would give respect to it, but neither is true here... You are a desparate Star Wars fanboy and seriously need to relax a little...
Really, Dis, your attempts at verbal fencing might be more effective if you didn't spend so much time on these forums just to poke fun at the people who actually have something germaine to say. But the fact is, the Shaydes, Obraiks and Rikers of this forum deserve a lot more and much better than the emptyheaded attacks you seem to enjoy heaping on them.
And before you try to pull a "but these guys have nothing in common" out of your sorry ass, guess again. They're ALL passionate about SWG and they are all, each in his own way, contributing to the community. This is far more than you can boast. And you can bet your bottom dollar that I resent the living HELL out of your attacking any of them either singly or as a community with your snide, highschool patheticisms.
The very words in your title is an insult to everyone who might even visit this site, considering MMORPG.com is an MMO gamer site. So what are YOU doing here with a post count over 600 if you're so slick that belittling MMO gamers as well as Star Wars fans is acceptible to you. It would seem you have a great deal to say on MMO forums for someone who thinks "MMO Nerds" are pathetic.
And in case you're too stupid to figure it out, I defend both sides of the community -- those of us who don't play but still care, AND those who still play and want to see the game get better. Because unlike nasty little cretins like yourself, I think they're ALL worth listening to, supporting and maybe even learning from. ALL of us deserve a better game, regardless of which side of an arguement in some forums we may line up on. Even you, though I'd be inclined to say that your case may not hold so much weight in light of your obvious distain for these "pathetic MMO and SW Nerds" as you've branded them.
