Anarchy Online (if you find newbies annoying, don't read it)

A friend of mine who plays several MMORPGs told me that I should start playing them because there's more depth to them than other games. I play mainly FPS and some RTS at the minute and I'm just wondering which MMORPGs would be for me.

I had a look at the games list and Anarchy Online caught my eye, I then read the player reviews and most of them weren't good.

I'd just like someone to give me the pros and cons of the game and I'll make my own mind up about it. (Before someone tells me to download the trial, it's my understanding that it isn't online and therefore I wouldn't be able to interact with other players and see what it is really like).

Of course the trail is online, the trail for anarchy is more like the full basic game, then u pay if you want any expansions, ive played it alot before and love it, the graphics are decent, though nothing like the real eye candy games. all i can say is download the basic version play that and get a feel for it, then if u like it buy the expansions.

If you enjoy the trial at all i would say get the expansions and try it that way for at least a month, the expansions open SOOOO much more and make the game alot more fun IMO
