I don't see why not, im pretty sure your characters are not saved client side.
Hell if they are this game is going to be hacked just as bad as the Diablo series was....
PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NOT TRUE LOL

I do not think it will be hacked, though I am sure it would not be the first time an online game has been hacked...are you old enough to know "War Games"? but my concern is not about that--. I would like to pick up where I left off...no matter what computer/ console I am at: home or Ohio, pc or alien. How am I assured that my properties and my account are maintained and accessible??
Being able to play Ultima X: O on different computers, maintaining the real time virtues and abilities--is very important to me as a gamer-- to everyone, I am sure. Anybody know this one..done it??
I think you miss understood me.
Like the majority of mmorpg's out there, user data (login information, billing, characters and items assigned to a user account) are stored on a remote server which is accessable via any workstation throught the US. Meaning you could access your account and play the game from your cousins comp. down in bum *F i dunno where, when you live on the sunny beaches of LA.... it doesnt matter where you are, you will be able to access you account.
My point was if it wasn't stored on a remote server and instead on the client side, such as Blizzard allowed with the 1st 2 releases of it's Diablo series.... then the likely hood of it being hacked would be far greater, locally and remotely.
So in summary, I seriously doubt your account will get hacked unless the developers leave a backdoor open and YES you will be able to access it from any remote location that has telecommunications of somekind to the NET.
If this still doesn't get by you, write me and I'll go further in depth.
