    Because Horizons was so bad to you?  Horizons isn't the best game on the market but there ARE people who actually do enjoy playing it.  I don't think that's hurting you in any way - same goes for Shadowbane.

    I feel sorry for those that stuck through it, enjoying thier experience and online friendships and having this happen to them.  It sucks to lose the ability to do something you enjoy - you shouldn't wish that on anyone - just MHO.

    Some of the vindicativeness on these types of boards just blows my mind.  Its a game!  I hated Doom - doesn't mean I think everyone that liked it shouldn't be allowed to play it.

    Some people enjoy this game, why wish something like that on them? If people enjoy something leave them alone. Its a game, go play one you like.

    Well I never cared for Shadowbane and would rather play Horizons over it anyday I wouldn't want to see either closed.  Cause you don't like a game doesn't mean others feel the same as you.

    It is Easy Torak, some games do not deserve to live, and (to me) this is one of them. I was an uber fanboy for a long ass time... but how many lies should i have to take? They also screwed a lot of people out of A LOT of money, and the leadership of this game got away clean.

    All-in-all, Horizons is the Enron of MMORPG's, they bilked investors (The players), they cooked the books and people lost millions, the only departure from ENRON is David is not on trial right now.

    This game SHOULD fail, SO MANY players spent SO MUCH time to make it work, and David and the crew just crapped on them, this game deserve nothing more.

    I am glad you like playing it, I am also sorry you do, there are far better games for you to be wasting your time in, playing Horizons is like choosing to drive a Kia in your driveway, parked next to your ROLLS ROYCE.

    I for one am glad that the market is now large enough and successful enough to punish gamemakers financially who launch bug ridden, underinvented  pieces of crap.

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    Well thing is no matter how popular a mmo is there's going to be people that thinks it's "bug ridden, underinvented pieces of crap."  WoW is the biggest mmo out there and there's people that feel that way.

    AE might have been a bit dirty on things but I still wouldn't want a game that people enjoy to close.  Be it AC2, SB, Horizons or another game.  Cause you, me or someone else dislikes it doesn't mean it should be shut down.

    You can spend your entire life moaning about 1 thing; it's not healthy MOVE ON! People are still moaning about SWG and will be for a looooooooong time. Yes you may have a genuine greivance, but dwelling on it months after is not positive nor healthy. Would it be good for me to say FU bobothewizar, I hope you lose your job if you have one or if you don't never get one? No.

    No annoying animated GIF here!
