    Hehe

Even some paladins solo dragons those days! :)  So yes, very easy to solo many dragons for a chanter, as long as you pick a dragon that dont dispell your charm on the pet. :)

I agree Enivel, they should have followed Lineage IIs example for classes unique and tailored to the races.  In Lineage II as a dark elf you can be things like a Phantom Ranger or a Blade Dancer.

My EQII bard could whoop your bladedancer.

I have a question about those bards.  From the class descriptions that I posted below, it only talks about the musical abilties of them.  Do they also get several fighting skills, too?  I've been wondering.

Bard - Bards sing songs that bolster the abilities of their allies and inspire courage on the field of battle. Though skilled in a wide variety of weaponry, bards use their musical powers to wreak havoc upon the enemy.

    • Dirge - Dirges are singers of angry songs and laments, using the power of cacophony to subdue their enemies. Their songs of rage inspire the fury of battle within their allies.
    • Troubador - Troubadours play music that inspires strength and courage in the hearts of their companions. They lead their allies into the deepest dungeons, raising their spirits with songs of victory.

Well of course Kiamde, there really is nothing as intimidating as a man in tights plucking his harp and yodeling in the middle of a battle.

Paladin would be my first choice. Only because my main was just that. my alt, or secondary will be a bard. They're a lot more interactive no matter what you do. Hell, I remember running across Karana, just seeing if I could somehow entertwine 4 songs together. But having a laggy POS Comp at the time didn't help out much. Plus, I solo'd My Bard from 1-45, wasn't easy, but it's doable. of course he was a twinky, which contributed to the Higher lvl solo act.

I would only be a bard if they had some instant direct damage spells. Those are my favorate spells in MMORPGs

    *cheer*

I look kindly upon those at 100%, as long as those weird choices are KoS by 99% of the NPCs, a troll paladin need to be KoS in all evil places, in most good places as well, only a few will listen to them, most paladins guilds should attack him outright. :)  Same with the dwarf SK, dont you even think to use the DE guild, you a dorfs, and DE dont like dorfs. :)

I would love to play a high elf necromancer(close to wood elf).  But I do understand I would be KoS almost everywhere, prolly would have to stick to humans necro guilds and maybe a few others place, but KoS almost everywhere. :)  And I hope to be able to put Tunare on that necromancer, since a necromancer can be good...(unlike paladins/sk where you need to follow some ethic and some gods).

I plan on playing a High Elf with a sub-class goal of Warlock.  In the original EQ I played a Halfling Rogue, so the role of Magic User will be a stretch for me indeed.

Monk... either a Dark Elf (always wanted to play one in the original, but HATED thier starting area), Iksar (Oh come on, how could you not... its a bad ass looking lizard) or a Karran (Meow!).

Chose monk because I played casters for 4 years in Everquest. I want to beat shit up now... dont want to be a tank class either because um... they die first usually...

Flem, at least there will be some cat people, the Kerrans... Although I think prefer the general "look" of EQ1 Vah Shir, based on what I have seen from the screenshots of Kerrans. Maybe they aren't bulky enough for me -- too panther-ish, not tiger-ish enough, I guess.

I am so happy to see other people who say they want to play Ratonga characters. I was starting to think I was going to end up being the lone rodent.  :)
