I'm this close (-) to resubscribing...but...Is it worth it? Looks like numbers are dropping. Which doesn't make sense since 90% of people have nothing but good things to say about DAoC. I wish there was a classic pvp server without ToA...cause back in the day...Mordred was AWESOME....I have a 50 mintrel on lamorak...but seems like population is too low on there...I dunno what to do. I need somethin to play. I was playin EQ2 pvp ...which wasn't bad...but still too buggy in my opinion. I'm big on pvp...what game should I play?...or should I resubscribe to DAoC?

The population isn't dropping. The problem with allowing people to see the actual numbers of players on at any given time gives the impression of a declining population. What is declining is the amount of people logged in at any given time and not the amount of subscribers.
Of course, what is most important to players at any given time is how many people are on. Subscriber numbers are important to keep track of because that determines revenue and if a game is going to die. So for all the posts now and for the past 4 years all talking about how DAOC is going to die, they are full of shit. Will it die someday? Yes. Is it going to be tomorrow? No. Is it going to be before the end of the year? No.
As for Lamorak. the population is ok. It is now clustered with Ector. Mythic made two mistakes in my opinion. The first was launching the classic servers, and the second was launching 3 of them. If the changes to ToA had been made prior to the Classic servers and not after, there would have been less demand for a new server type. Even if the number of people wanting a new server were enough, there would have been less demand. Perhaps if Mythic had launched with 3 servers things would have been different, but waiting for the 3rd server essentially doomed Ector. It seems as though Lam, for most people was a second choice and seconed played.
Given that a pure PvP server type is not very popular with DAOC, I do not see a classic PvP server in the future.
My suggestion would be to start up again and play on Lamorak. If the population is too low, then re-roll on Gareth and you should have no problems with the population. From the sounds of it, it looks like Mid could use some help of Gareth.
