Jumping off the bird

I just noticed that you could jump off the bird midflight by hitting the spacebar. When did they make that change? I'm glad they did it, however will have to be more careful, in DAOC you could jump off the horse. I don't know how many times I ended up running somewhere cause I can't type.

Dont remember exactly when it was put in, ,maybe couple of months ago at a guess.
Comes in handy at times when you fly over your intended destination, saves getting off at the Grif station and running back. Just make sure you jump off when you are not too high up.
