In this one I would choose dwarf. I enjoy fighting and being up front taking damage, dwarfs may not be the best damage takers however they sure do make great warriors in most games.

However you won't see me looking for any dwarf females, I prefer the taller women. Heh

Elves rule! So I'm going with Half Elf....It's good from what I've read so far...It doesn't seem like there is many negatives/positives to choosing any certain race.

You forgot Dark Elf, my favorite Race.  Well, Gnome is also a long-time favorite of mine.

By far my favourite race is the Lutins. I would love to enter the world of Dark and Light as one of these little guys, pitty they don't have very powerful magic, but I can eploit what little power they do have to its fullest potential. I would try and always form alliances with fellow shorties such as fairies and gnomes. I don't like dwarves however and will kick dwarf butt at any time regardless of head hunter status. Be wary oh Dwarves, I'm gunna get you. There will be a rogue dwarf hunter on the loose when this game is released. I am going to make it my personal mission to exterminate dwarves from the town where I live. ha ha ha....I am serious. Wood Elves on the other hand will be friends, unless of course they attack me....

No, Half-Orks are Dark only.  Half-Trolls are both Dark and Light.

Holy Moly, so many fairy-lovers!

You can add me to that list, too. As long as fairies have been a part of mythology, folklore, and more recently the D&D foundation of roleplay, I haven't found any graphic MMORPGs willing to employ them as a playable race until now. I'm almost invariably a hybrid or a melee in MMOs but this time I'll be play playing a hardcore caster since that's all Fairies can be... probably a Good-Aligned Enchanter or Wizard. I think it's funny they can't be males... maybe to avoid gay jokes. /snicker
