Hope this is as good as original uo was

in Ultima X: Odyssey
played the original for over three years and it never got old. i can only hope the new one is as good. ive played ac1,evercrack,daoc and the horrid swg. only daoc came close to having the depth and fun of original uo for me. i guess the classic knights and goblins mmorpg is my cup of tea and i cant wait(and then be dissapointed) by middle earth online. i hope uox fills the viod for now. maybe we are all asking too much out of these games. what ya think? i mean, really, you all want to become rich, strong motherf...ers that can kill a dragon with a swing of a sword. aint that whats its all about. if i really wanted to meet people id go to a chat for free. so my poll is this will uox online be all its supposed to be or a swg dud?

    I personally think this game looks really cool. Has some features that sound pretty solid, and the combat system is my favorite thing I've read about this game. But as I've come to realize after countless pieces of crap being released that were hyped up and sounded great on paper to not judge untill at least open beta and more info is released.

    We can only hope it turns out as good as it sounds. It's about time we have something new that's worth playing.

    anyhoo..I am really excited for the game to come out and cannot wait for the beta to open up with sign ups. I think the fact that they have use of the unreal engine is one of the key factors that is going to make this game be a sucess since it provides such fast play and allows the devs to really focus heavy on the content.

    Amen to that, I hope it is as good or better than the original. I just cant seem to find a game to hold my interest as good as UO did.

    I defintiely feel it's going to be a hit. Not because it'll be as good as UO, but because like UO was when it first came out it's trying something new, which is always a good thing. It's also pretty well thought out and not just a bunch of systems thrown together for the sake of having them. I'm definitely optimistic about it.

    "UXO a hit or miss" isn't a yes or no question, how am I supposed to vote?

     

    This game isn't trying to be like UO. It's trying to be more like the Ultima series as a whole, and yes, I do think it's going to be a hit.

    UO was my frist mmorpg & so far it has been unparrelleled in most aspects (Obvoiusly Not Graphics) I Hope UXO Upholds The Standards Of OG UO.  Although EA Messed Up UO I Believe that UXO Should Surpass UO And I Think It Is A Definate "Hit" Which I Hope To Beta...
