DDO - Major Bugs Take Game Offline

Gonna be a long night for Turbine. Their new update for Dungeons and Dragons Online contained so many bugs and exploits they had to take the game offline. It has been down for hours with no estimate on repair time. So many fans were wondering what was going on that they flooded the official forum with traffic, and now that is completely offline as well...

    The irony of it is that the update was going fix a buttload of problems with the game (UI bugs, chat bugs, etc.), plus add new content. Oh Well.

    they turned my +2 silver returning axes into 50 +2 silver returning axes heh, hopefully they wont fix that

    Just announced the rollback of all characters. Game is supposed to be up later tonight. Cross your fingers...

    Not that I'm a fan of DDO but, this isn't unique to them, sad as that is. Most MMO patches are a joke and end up screwing the servers up for hours or even days.

    lol hey, it happens what ya going to do ya know ? :P. lol im not much of a fan either of DDO , but hes got a point it does happen... hours to possibly days... even WoW had to shut down majority of the servers one day because one of the patches /updates went screwy : /

    Not playing DDO, I have to ask -- are there actually any dragons in it? Do guilds go on raids? I only got to level 5 in beta and spent most of my time smashing barrels and killing kobolds (after kobold after kobold).

    Same, but AFAIK there is a dragon in-game - before the new module. In the new addition, there is a red dragon.

    All together now...

    There is a Red Dragon is in Module 1, which is a 12 player raid. I think it's an 8 quest storyline where 6 of the quests are regular run-of-the-mill quests and the last 2 quests are 12 player raids. Other than that, there is no other raid content. 

    They also added content other than the Dragon quest storyline, but no raid content.
