Where does the gil came from anyway??

I don't see whre all the gil comes from in the game - I can see all the
gil sinks - from chocobos to npcs etc. the only gilmakers i can see are
from some random quests, and killing some mobs, bt i dont see them
equalizing.  

does anybody know? Would it be gilsellers with their constant farming introducing the gil?

When you sell an item to an npc, that introduces new gil into the world. Or you can farm mobs for gil that they drop.

Ok, since this was never explained to you or common sense never told you. Gil is made like this...

When a man and a woman love eachother very much, they fornicate and the woman gets preggo forcing them to get married. 9 months later the girl will spurt out about 1-1million gil depending on how fertile the male was. Then they will fight for the money, get divorced and hate eachother for about 10 years untill they have the reality hit them, they will never find another partner. So they decide to get backtoghter and share their gil's that they faught over. Then they get married, but the male forgets to sign the prenup(or w/e) and the girl devorces and takes all of his gill's because she is a evil witch from hell. And that my friend is the complete cycle of how girls are created.

There have been times when it was possible to buy an item and sell it back for more gil.
There has been an issue where you could fish rusty caps and synth them with a light crystal to get a padded cap that sold for almost 10k.
There where times when you could mass fish bastore breams at the guild in Windurst and sell them for 2-3k a pop.

I do however think that the most gil comes from killing mobs. It adds up when you have about 3000 players online at the same time killing mobs. Even if they only frop 50gil. Do this 24/7 for more than 2 years and you accumulate alot of gil.
