What will likely be there? Humans, Asgard, Tok'ra, Jaffa, Goa'uld. Now from what i heard there is gonna be 3 factions. Good (humans, asgard, etc), Control (goa'uld, Ori, etc), and "kill em all's" (replicators).
My question is what race not mentioned there would you like to see in game, playable or not.
Persoanly i would like to see some Tollan's. they can't ALl have been wiped out by the Goa'uld, and there has got to be some of they're technolagy laying around somewhere in the galaxy. And i'd also (like just about every other SG-1) fan would like to see some Furling's (for those not in the know they were mentioned a few times early in the series as one of the most powerful races in the "Ancient Alliance", but never once contacted or shown).

Not sure if UNAS can be played but they would be cool...
why would you say that? do you think they are omnipotent to the SG game?
put it this way, if SG can go agaist the Ori and Replicators in the TV show, why not in a game?
Who would be the friend/enemy if they are implementing PvP in this game?
You could pick a faction like the Ori and be a slave to their cause or a replicator in the same manor.
And Asgard were def impressed with Carters intelligence for being a human.
Like all other races, they do have there downfall which makes them no different.
The replicators? That's the one of the 3 that COULD be a playable race in a perfect world, but I somehow doubt they are going to waste the time creating them as a playable choice not only because of their limited benefit/abilities other than sheer numbers, but also because of the fact that the replicator storyline in the TV show was the lowest rated period for SG-1...ever. The people didn't find the replicators interesting.
When this thing launches, I imagine your choices are going to be human, Jaffa, Goa'uld, and the To'Khra...MAYBE the Lucian Alliance.
Good point, but still, then the Goa'uld 1st debuted to SG, they too seemed overpowered and what not and how can SG conqueor them, esp with the weaponary at the time. They considered themselves GODS, but as Teal'c would say, False Gods.
the Ori being semi new to SG continuity, of course they are going to make them bad ass. Hell, in SG-Atlantis, the Wraith seemed unstoppable, but now, just a nuisance which can be beaten on any good given day.
But this game wont be released for another 2 years or Season 12 LOL..
So alot can change by then.
Personally i would like to get to play one of the little grey men.
Asgaard all the way
anyone remember the race "The Nox" ??(from season 1:) they destroyd their stargate that the goa'uld couldn't come to them or something dont remember i saw it a long time ago but they could go invisible and thay had a city in the sky that also was invisible but now the Ori came and mby they could come to help or something (just a thought)and apear in the game for good guy's human tok'ra jaffa and asgard to balance the game and they had technolgy grater than the goa'uld if i remember it right.Bad dudes could be goa'uld, Ori, Lucian Alliance, and some "EVIL" race more i was thinking about the race in sg atlantis creepy monsters with ships destroying planets but i dont know is the game based on SG1 or SG1 and Atlnatis.
ps i have seen only one episod on atlantis and there was a some moster prob or something but im sure there are some bad dudes in atlantis
I would want to play Asgard.
If I cant I would go Tokra or Replicator.

Hi all,
I would like to see survivng Tolans that are more battle harden, as a playable race.
IMO,
Tauceti
Plus I'm sure there are ancients that want to fight already before they are exterminated by the ever growing Ori
Hi all,
Remember there were basically 2 general types; pre-ascension and ascended. So I could see how pre-ascended could come into play. So as a playable race I would argue that if you allow the Asgard as one then you could possibly allow some!! pre-ascended ones.
IMO,
TAuceti
it would be pritty cool to play the kull warriors (super soldiers)
I
SWTOR. Face it, in the Scooby Doo Mystery Solving Van of coolness, this game is Velma. In this current MMO climate it has about as much chance for survival as a group of inquisitive teenagers in a 1980s slasher flick. -Tardcore May, 2011
I'd like to see the Unas as a race, the for sure races currently are Humans, Jaffa, Gou'ald(tok'ra is apart of the Gou'ald race) also Asgard were on the list for a while but they took them off because many of us have been against such a powerful tech race being playable.
"Many of us are against such..." Ajzi are you really that connected? Or did the Dev team just go in a direction that makes sence in the game?
If you are connected kewl beans, what's the chance of being a X-303/302 pilot?

Depeneds what you mean by connected...... Am I a dev? no. Am I a mod there? not yet (maybe some time in the future.)
Have I been apart of the community since the beginning at SGW? Yes
Am I a very active member there? Yes very!
Do the devs mostly listen to what we post there? Yes.
Am I some one "important"? Depends on who you ask.
And What I meant by "Many of us are against such" was that Me and a couple other memebers had been petitioning for the Asgard not to be a playable race for a couple of months, the devs read the thread and a month later the Asgard had been taken off of the playable Race list.
About the x303 and f-302 pilot player controled ships won't be available until the first expansion after the release.
