From what I gathered from this is that it's just some chat on when and who the US would be willing to use their nuclear weapons and for what reasons. Still, I wouldn't say that we're going to start launching nukes at Iran or Iraq because of some terrorist/s.
It hardly makes sense to use nuclear weapons against terrorists if they first use them against you or one of your friends, seeing how many civilians would die and how few terrorists. We might as well be spitting at the rain.
Seriously doubt anything will come of it. Never know though.

That's understandable, but I read somewhere just now that Iran did not have any nuclear weapons? Without nukes (supposedly) they can't very well do much damage (as seen on a large scale) I would guess.
Its just like if I heard a rumor at school and some bully was talking about shooting me. Would I wait and see if it was true? Nope.
You hopefully wouldn't shoot him first. The best thing would be to report it to the principal or to the police or both. From what I've been told, I think that the UN pretty much plays that role.

The 'fact' is, Iran have no nuclear weapons. Christ they barely even have knives, I highly doubt tactical nuclear weaponry is on the menu. The 'nuclear power stations' they are building most probably are purely for energy gaining purposes. The fact that Iran have openly invited the Americans to send weapons inspectors to all of their power plants, which of course the Americans declined, shows they probvably have nothing to hide.
This entire situation revolves purely around oil and america's greed.
Not to mention the fact that Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non Proliferations treaty...
Where as India isnt and Bush was in India just the other day encouraging Australia to sell them more uranium.
So work that one out!

You are really underestimating Iran. Of course they have weapons, nuclear or not. After all this talk of the US contemplating an attack on Iran, of course they are preparing a strike on us (they aren't just standing around waiting). Also because of this Iraq war, our military is being stretched.
I'm not saying we are going to strike them. I'm just saying it would be dumb, and with this talk of it on the news and stuff; it's not helping us look good.
I'm not brainwashed by the government. I'm only talking about what I saw on the internet and news.

Man that is just nonsense....
I would agree they might be planning to fund insurgent groups to attack US troops in Iraq... but the notion of Iran planning an attack on US soil is just so far fetched its fantasy.
I mean lets face it every report that has been released since the start of the Iraq war now agrees that Sadam had no method or ability to threaten the US on its own soil in any meaningful way, even the links with funding terrorists have been dismissed as an inteligence bungle combined with extreme paranoia.
This is about one thing really and that it Israel. The way the US Government is at the end of puppet strings from Israel means that an attack or threat on Israel is seen as the same as an attack on the US itself is why your Government continues to make up monster and boogyman stories about the capability of Middle Eastern nations to threaten your general population. Its got almost nothing to do with US security and everything to do with Israeli security.
Its impossible to say what I really think without being labled as "anti semetic" so I wont even bother. But suffice to say the US Government for one reason or another has always bent over backwards to support Israels occupation of land annexed from Palestine almost 60 years ago. It was that act that triggered the creation of groups like Alquida, Fattah, Hammas etc etc and now 60 years later its still an intractable problem that just keeps getting worse year after year.
Somehow.... Im not sure how because to outsiders of the USA we cant understand why you guys swallow it... but somehow they have got your populace believing that you need to sacrafice your national security and your young men and women to protect Israel....
Go figure....
