Dear Fellow GoonZu Users,



We highly appreciate your love and faithfulness to Global GoonZu Online.
As a token of our appreciation, we would like to announce some exciting news for everyone.
We believe that you will be as excited as we are once you find out what we are about to reveal.



We know that you have been very patient with us for almost a year now,
and we also know that you have been patiently waiting for the major update on GoonZu World.
We have been quiet about the news on this issue even though you have been speculating about it.
However, we are finally releasing open alpha test version at 12:00 PM GMT on April 11, 2006.

(Please note: Currently, Global Server cannot be accessed if you are connecting from Japan or using Japanese version Windows)

You do not have to speculate anymore. You do not have to rely on others??imaginations.
You can finally have a glance on the new version of GoonZu before its final beta test.


For your information, please review the following dates and facts**:

1. Duration of Open Alpha Test: April 11, 2006 (@12:00 PM GMT, 5:00 AM PST, 8:00 AM EST) ~ April 17, 2006 (@2:00 AM GMT, 7:00 PM PST, 10:00 PM EST)

2. The data of Alpha Test will be reset upon the completion of the test.

3. Tentative Open Beta Test Starting Date: April 19, 2006 (@08:00 AM GMT, 01:00 AM PST, 4:00 AM EST)

4. Official Close Date for Current Global GoonZu Online: April 19, 2006 (@08:00 AM GMT, 01:00 AM PST, 4:00 AM EST)


We also know the users??concerns regarding to the current Global GoonZu Online. We have tried our best to accommodate the users??needs as much as possible and we have concluded as follows:

1. You can use the same account that you are using to play the current game along with your character name.

2. Your current level will be halved (Ex. Lv. 100 ??Lv. 50).

3. Your attributes (Str, Agi, Wis, Vit, Dex) will be reset but you will receive bonus points according to your reduced level to customize your character.

4. All your money will be transferred. (Warning: This does not include any other assets such as stocks)

5. All your items, skills, jobs, and residency will be reset.

We know that this will create some major problems such as not having high level artisans to create items. This will be compensated by offering various events that can help you to build your character easier and faster. Please check our official homepage for the event updates.


This open alpha test is designed to offer an opportunity not only to those experienced GoonZu users but also to new users so that they can try and test out the a whole new GoonZu World. We are currently fixing bugs and incorrect translations as we speak but we encourage everyone to try out and send us your opinions on this new exciting Global GoonZu Online.
