WoW just a-chuggin' along, a year and a half post launch.  Not that I'm a huge fan of WoW, but someone must be.  The numbers speak for themselves.

More of an indication that aside from WoW mmogs aren't selling too well. Where is RF Online? Exactly!

    No annoying animated GIF here!

You mean 99.9% of all MMORPGS are going bankrupt?

I for one am quite glad that the game isn't being bought by everyone and their kids, it means that there won't be a flood of immature brats who ruin my gaming experience with the constant flamefest in chats.

Sometimes less is more, especially when the lesser part are mature roleplayers. Can do without all those WoW people quite well, you know?

And you should be considered mature after making a sweeping statement about WoW players?

This is what the DDO fanboys do. They have nothing good they can say about DDO, so they bash WoW instead. Pretty sad really. The funniest part is, then he turns around and says that not only is his rant "mature", but then he posts that his rant/opinion is "just the facts".

    The ironing is delicious!

Rant? Ironing? (My shirts are nicely ironed indeed, I hate crinkles!) ;)

Yes I don't think much about the average WOW player, experience with the WOW community has taught me that. But hey it's cool, they can keep playing their game, and I keep playing DDO. It's in your head alone where this statement became a rant and flame against WoW, I didn't even talk about the game WOW, more about its community, I know it was hard to understand, so I will say it again, just for you:

    To each their own...

P.S.: I would suggest some counceling for you, CoHsucks, you seem to be in need of some anger management sessions, all that hate can't be good for your health. Also, before you talk of irony, you should check which forum you are on here. I'm not the one bashing a game that I don't even play, you can check the WOW forums on here, I will stay far away from those, I would recommend you stay away from the DDO forum...

Play 50 dollars for a broke game and see if you don't get pissed off. That's how I felt after playing WoW.

I hear you, I tried it too, game wasn't that bad in my opinion, just the community was the worst that I have encountered since I play MMORPGs, which is a long time, since Meridian59 came out.

But the difference between you, me and some other posters here *cough* is, that we two are not spending our time on the mmorpg.com forum for WoW to bash it in every post.

Tried it, didn't like it, moved on... That's how normal people do it, I'm just a bit surprised at all the hate mongers in this forum, who try to sour DDO for those who like it, what do they get out of it, please enlighten me?
