Coh/Cov

I downloaded the City of Villains client yesterday, and has been playing around on the trial for a while. But before i bother to play around anymore, i wonder what you guys think about the game.

I have been playing Wow a lot, but got tired eventually, i felt the community was pretty immature, and the pvp got boring, with endlessy repeating battlegrounds, while grinding for honor.
So, how is City of Heroes/Villains compared to this? Should i continue spending time on it (eventually buying it) or should i keep looking for a game i will like?

I played CoV for a little bit, heres what I thought:

Short Version: It is a GREAT casual game. I mean really, if I had to recommend a casual MMO to anyone it would be CoH or CoV, it is a lot of fun, but if your a hardcore player its over quick. Its lots a fun for a little bit, then gets old and you realize that your doing the same thing over and over.

    Longer version:

First thing to get out of the way that EVERYONE says; character creation is awesome, second to none. The noob tutorial is fun, but Im sure you already know about all that.

The grind in this game is not bad at all. The missions are fun, I liked robbing banks and kidnapping people ::::23::

The storylines are awesome, you can get caught up in a mob war and really feel like your about to bring down a rival family.

The community is above average. I got in a few bad groups, but overall I had very good experiences with other people being very helpful, friendly, and fun-loving. One thing that did irk me was that people would just randomly invite you to guilds, twice I thought I had been invited to a group and then realized I just joined someones guild ::::07::

Another thing I loved was the skill/leveling system, it was well done to put it simply. I was always looking forward to getting my next skill and trying it out in battle. Kudos to them for this, perfect blend of class/skill based system.

Solo-ing is an option. Not everyone wants to group ALL the time, even in MMO's.

I never really got into crafting or pvp so I will not presume to judge those.

All in all, best casual game on the market. For hard-core gamers its a little lack-luster. If your looking to log on maybe an hour or so everyday and meet up with some fun-loving people and go fight crime (or make it) then this is a good game for you.

Disclaimer: This is my OPINION of the game.

P.S. You got me wanting to resub to CoV...
