Accertia Dmg Dealers?

Decided to bite the bullet and get the game, but now that I've taken that step, I wanna ask a quick question.

As far as PvP effectiveness, and overall damage, is it better to go Ranger or Warrior? Both look so goddamn cool, and I'll end up making both, I just want the first one to be effective enough to hold me on so I can tolerate making a second.

Well its possible to be both warrior and ranger at the same time. The difficult choice would be at when you reach level 30 and get your secondary class change. You could either go pure Ranger (if u started out as a ranger) or pure warrior, or you could cross claas and have Warrior/Ranger or vise versa. This all depends on your primary class choice of course, but they in the end they all have their benefits/downfalls

I'm gonna go Ranger -> Gunner -> Then... I unno striker looks good.. but Self-Destruct is always fun.

Crossclassing into warr does what? Better armor/more HP + Basic war skills?

The Warrior can handle a lot of dmg because you will increase your shield pt, and when you change class the game will boost you hp.

But If you want to inflict dmg, the best in the game is the Cora Warlock.

Untill the launcher and warior classes reach level 40, because the lvl 40 launcher (which is a flamethrower) sucks and there's no elite launcher skills. As soon as the warriors (Punisher and Assaulter especially) get those elite skills and reach their class change at 40 they will outdamage a launcher class by miles.

Strikers become better at 45 is what I've been hearing because they get a normal launcher again instead of the flamethrower. But no one has confirmed that since there are no lvl 45 strikers yet on my server that is.

Warrior->Destroyer(30)->Punisher->(40) That's the melee damage dealer, and has the root.

Now the damage dealer for ranged is all over..Just what you would like to play I'd guess.

Dementor is good to lower Force Points, and to Jihad yourself at the CW.
My guildies went Phantom Striker(or whatever the cloaker is) and they're enjoying it.
Gunner is ok, yet they really screwed 40s on a launcher...yet with talics and stuff my guildie does dent a BMAU pretty well.

Specialist hands down are needed for getting damage down with grenades, rezzing, and buffs.
Battle leaders-For the speed buff, Gauge down(Defence bar) and a high level statuslauncher for better debuffs.
Scientist-Rezzers, and a  status launcher thingy
