I haven't played EQ2 since the revamp back in September 2005. Now I've always liked playing warriors in MMO's. If I remember my DarkElf warrior was lvl 11. Since the revamp he had a bit of trouble tanking yellow con mobs. I've always liked playing Elf type warriors to. Since EQ1 I loved my darkelf warrior. In WoW I have a night elf warrior, but the solo aspect in that game is boring me to no end. Its also hard to find a good guild in WoW. The only time I can get groups in WoW is with instances such as DM ect..
Anyways, I'm about go to and buy a time card. I'm wondering should I continue playing my DE warrior? Can warriors find groups easy in EQ2 since the revamp? I may try out a different class to. I think I was on the crushbone server. Also how are warriors in pvp? The WoW warrior for pvp was fun. I don't have to pvp though, the main reason why I like being warriors in MMO's is to tank in end game raids.

DE is a fine tank but when you log in the first time you will have to pick your subclass. You don't start as a warrior anymore, which is very kewl. The PVP servers are online now so you will have to decide whether you want to stay with your old server or try PVP, which is very fun but you can get ganked a lot. Tanks rarely have trouble finding a group, especially if you pick a higher dps tank.
they took out the warrior sub class now you would have to choose between shadow knight gaurdain bruiser berserkers monk.
There is nothing wrong with guardian solo just slower then the rest but due to the high defences you hardly take damage .
I have a now level 70 guardian on oasis and i soloed 80% of the time due to time differences and most of my guild not been on at this time and weekends is raid time.
Guardians,as been said, are the best tank period.I never been on a raid in which a class other then me tanked and for good reason too.
However on a pvp server you might think hard before rolling a guardian as they have very poor dps.
