does daoc have a good economy

i like games that have good economys and stuff i was woundering if DAoC has a good one like can u make your own stuff and sell it?

I am not sure what you mean by "good" economy.  As with any game, the longer it is out and the older the server is, the more inflation there tends to be.  It is not nearly as bad as in most games.  The good news is that everything a player needs can usually be earned without having to buy it so the inflation does not usually hit you.  The only thing that is too costly in terms of what the game charages you are the best looking horses.  For some reason the developers decided that only those who are insanely rich should be able to have a good look horse.  The rest of us have to ride around and some ugly brown thing  The horses functionality is the same, it just does not look nice.  Just my little pet peave about this game.  New players should not be hurt by the current economy and by the time you hit 50 you should have plenty of money. 

As for people able to craft items and sell them, you can.  The problem is that the current way crafting works, you need to be at the top of your tradeskill to be able to sell items.  While there is some demand for items below level 50, it is not that much.  You will need to be close to max  in your tradeskills in order to be able to make those items.  Some tradeskills are also hard to make a profit with.  In the next patch cycle (due in June I believe), DAOC is planning on redoing crafting.  It might address some of those issues I mentioned and certainly once I have left out.
