Why do so many insist on putting the Guild Wars down because it doesn't force us to level grind? Or have all the down falls of the pay to play games like getting noob ganked by others and your stuff stolen, or mob camping so that the leet players can keep their leetness while the rest are stuck being crap cause of it? Also I don't understand why they put down the PvP aspects of the game. I've seen many say it sux but then why does the leetness of having uber gear the deciding factor make PvP better? This is in fact the way all other MMO games PvP is as far as I understand. GW is the only one that skill is the determining factor of winning at PvP. Also those saying that GW is all about PvP and that there is almost no PvE have not played this game because if they had they would know that PvP only a small part of the overall game.
It seems that everyone that negatively reviewed GW prefer throwing away 100s of dollars a year away to grind away at games that are designed with the grind so that you will keep spending money. Think about it. If WoW (I only choose that because its one of the most popular pay to play) only had a max level of 20 and content to take you to level 20 and the end game stuff was all at that point. How many people would still be paying to play it after say 3 or 4 months. Not many thus why they set up level grind so that it takes you much longer to get to the end and then play end game until your bored. The end result is they suck like 5 times or more money out of you before you get bored.
I really hope that people don't take the negative people seriously because after reding a number of them their statements seem to be set up purposefully to destroy the game just because its not pay to play and making you grind to suck up your money.
