Looking for text based strategy clones

I found the Kings of Chas Clone and previewed the game, and it looks good.  Im upset that it is an old version, but I am still willing to buy it.  First, I would like to know what my selection of clones for text based strategy games are.  I would prefer a game that cost money if it is truly better, but a free script is good as well.

Try asking Emperor from clan 1g. He's into strategy games. They got a forum at http://www.1greborn.com/ other then that I have no clue. But if your into text based rpg's there is a game my old college buddy plays called Cybersphere. It's a very good game, it is well coded and there are strict rules on roleplay. I'm not into roleplay much and suck at /commands so I didn't get into it, but I do recognize a good game when I see one.
