ENOUGH OF FANTASY MMO'S!

IM TIRED OF FANTASY MMO'S! It seems like all we ever get now adays are clones of games that have to do with fantasy and magic and what not. I'm tired of that I want change, something new and exciting as opposed to replicas of the samge game over and over again. Don't get me wrong some fantasy mmo's are excellent, however, as more come out, i really lose interest because its all something i've seen before. I wish that more companies would devote their time and money to being original and creating good non fantasy games like sci fi or historical games. I want something that is a new experience or at least ventures from Fantasy. Post your thoughts on this topic.

This seems to be the latest "thing", and more and more players are following the trend. The fact is, many players still enjoy playing mmos set in a fantasy setting. It is here to stay. I am pleased to see other settings coming to mmorpgs, but my favorite is still fantasy.
Maybe it is the game in particular that gets people so uptight, because we've been playing PC games for over a decade now that 99% of the time focus on killing and combat. Why not complain about that and ask for a change in design rather than a change in setting.

No, not the second one, the first. Goes by Asheron's Call Throne of Destiny now-a-days. Original MMORPG concept, birthed from the first generation MMOs. While the graphics are dated, yes, the gameplay is unsurpassed with such things as slide-casting, making the PvP unrivaled as one can physically dodge projectiles using ones' keyboard.
