Xbox 360 players: How do you communicate w/ no keyboard? Fee?

How does a player with an Xbox 360 commincate with others with no keyboard to type out sentances and such?

Is there a fee to play FF if you are playing on the Xbox 360 AND already paying for Xbox live gold services?

There IS a keyboard for the Xbox 360?  Is this true?  A USB port keyboard?  Can I get a link to one to use.... did a search and cant seem to find the info on the keyboard needed for FF on the Xbox 360.

I wonder if a keyboard is going to be made and fee services worked out for those on next gen consules like the 360 and the PS3 for the line of MMOs being made for cross platform MMO gaming:  the Marvel MMO, the DC comics MMO, Huxley, the grand theft auto MMO and others.....

Assuming Square Enix is able to manage the technology, there is a headset with the controller of the Xbox360.

I never use the headset myself, no I have no keyboard on my Xbox 360, maybe it is possible to buy 1 or maybe 1 come with Xbox Lives (no idea).

But...I wouldn't trust Square Enix, they don't care for players and just want your money.  Unless you really enjoy their game...stay far from them...I am a gamer, I will never forgive them buying FF XI and never been able to play it, yet wasting my account in the void and now...I should buy the game again?  LOL a real joke...Square Enix = money whores, walk away.  They really can't care less about you, as a player.

I am just wondering how the Xbox 360 is going to handle this MMO and the other 4 or 5 comming out of the next couple years on the next gen consules in terms of comunication and cross platform playing.....

Makes sense they will have to get a keyboard to hook up to the consules.... Huxley is due out late this year....both the DC and Marvel comics MMO look to be due in 2 yrs or less.

With great difficulty, usually :-). He can voice chat, but only with other 360 players. Otherwise, he has call up a soft keyboard and cursor his way around the keys, hunt and peck style .

Yes, you have to pay the FFXI subscription fee even if you are already paying for gold services. However, you do not have to buy gold services to play FFXI. You only need the free silver service.

My understanding is that you should be able to plug any USB keyboard into the Xbox's USB port and use it in FFXI. That's how it works with the PS2, and I don't see why it should be different here.
