Nor L2 is a game that you can find your way to the endgame fun in 14 days...
You need to be at least lvl 52+ and inside one pvp/raid active clan/alliance to have the fun. Loners won't get any fun from L2, and no clan/alliance beside the newbie ones will accept anyone below lvl 52 imo.
With the extreme numbers of bots and commercials farmers doing automated lowbie quests/fishing already at this time i am sure we'd see 100s of additional ones if NcSoft offered those trials to the public. That surely would give some of the servers that already lag a lot (eg Teon) the death blow.

Sorry, there is no free trial for L2.
At peak times all the servers are full so I dont think you will see one anytime soon. And what Jazia said as well
