SWG isn't that bad

Hi, I just resubscribed yesterday and I was prepared for a disaster, but the game wasn't that bad. I mean, it is a totally different game, but it is still good, and its much better then the beginning of the NGE. Loads of bug fixes and other stuffs. So you should give it a second try^^

Well, to cut it short they can bring back pre-NGE or Pre-CU and i am with them again. But most likely some next generation MMORPG will be released before that happens and so SWG will never see me again.

ITA. What this game offers now would not have sparked any interest from me. The very thing that captured my attention in the pre-CU was unceremoniously gutted from SWG in the CU to some degree, but mostly by the evil NGE.

I did try it again, with a new character even instead of my sadly gimped Jedi or Crafter toons.
It still sucks.
I wont give SOE or LAE any more money. My loyalty and hope for SWG has ended. If they return to Pre-CU then Ill return.... if I dont find something to fill the viod of the Pre-CU SWG experience.

Compared to the pre NGE, and especially pre CU, the game isn't very good at all. It's gone in a totally different direction, and one I don't find enjoyable. Everyone has thier own taste and preference. I am glad you enjoy the NGE.
The bugs and incomplete content was not what I didn't like about the NGE. It is just not my style of game anymore. If I want that type of gameplay, I fire up my Xbox 360 for some mindless fun. I won't try the NGE again.

Agreed. You all have very valid points. I may have missed it...but why has no one mentioned skill trees? There is talk of implementing trees for Jedi, VERY LIMITED trees mind you, but still...it's a start. That was my big love, trying out different templates.
I think one of my major annoyances with the game now is that I'm afraid to do anything. I'd spend a month getting something that would last me forever. Now I do that and the next day it's worthless.
Pre-cu:
Man 1: Hm, we are equal levels.
Man 2: Yes, but I will win because I have a better weapon.
Man 1: But I have an attribute suit on...
Man 2: Let's find out!
Post-cu:
Man 1: Hm, my weapons does 400 more max dmg than yours and 200 more min dmg.
Man 2: Yes, but I'm a higher level. Now stand still while I kill you with my spoon.
