I read about the UXO givaway and i won it.  Now it said they would issue the prizes on the 15th of January.  Does that mean they are sending us the beta download by mail or by CD on the 15th? Cause i havnt gotten it yet, i was 9th person to claim prize

    I think that even when u receive your prize(most likely cd via mail) you won't be able to play it straight away. Because it's a beta account and seeing as beta hasn't started you may have to wait a while.

    Please try to remember, it's not about "playing" the game as it is about testing the game. Sure, have fun...have a blast...tell us all how awesome it can be, and that we'd be lucky to play it. But please report the bugs.

    If you love MMOGs then help make them better. That's what BETA is about.

    Yer when i say "play" i mean install and get into a server, nothing beyond that. What ianubisi said is correct, it is about testing and reporting bugs, you may have won a prize but still have to remember this. "If you love MMOGs then help make them better.     If you won the UXO beta, you should have read ALL the rules, they have no clue when the beta will start, you are guaranteed a spot sometime in beta, you will be notified when you can get into beta, as I'm sure UXO will notify you by email since the Admin has to let them no who won from here and give them your email address.

    If you don't get a cd, then I'm sure you'll have to download it like alot of other beta's do. Thats not a big deal, as sending out CD's would cost the Admin alot of money in postage, we can't have that now could we.  Although the other option would be, the Admin was authorized to do this contest and submit the 20 names to them and then they could (UXO) send you out your CD when they know they want you to begin beta testing.

    I wouldn't worry too much, you've won a spot in UXO for sure, just be patient.
