WTF, its not MAY 30th

I think this is the first time, A game has been delayed twice IN ONE DAY.

This morning they said 15th , now the Pioneers just got emails saying 30th of MAY.


I couldnt care less any more because I appropriately complaiend on the forums and had my posts deleted 3 time in a row.

With such screwed up people handling the game I HOPE it fails miserably.

    Delayed again? Wow, just wow. These guys might as well offer full refunds to those that have paid and pack it in. How much longer can they string people along on broken promises?

    They are back to using the epidemic, which btw is rarely fatal, do a google search. They used this excuse at the SOG launch. Now using it again. It doesnt actually say that any of the team is actually sick and even so, it lasts about a week, like the bad flu and causes aches in joints.

    I think its horrendous of DNL to use the excuse of many who have actually had/have the virus as a means to delay even further a game that they have continuously lied and abused customers for many years. Using this as an excuse for no content and incomplete development is the lowest of the low. The team lives and works in a metropolitan area. It is spread by misquitoes. The likelihood of those being affected who do not work outside, work at night outside or near or in stagnant pools of water is extremely low. The death rate reported now is an accumulation number. Not a current deaths in the last 6 months kinda thing.  Again, do a google search and you will see what this virus is about and how the DNL team has sleazed even further down to the lowest.

    Prayers are with those that are actually truly affected.

    erm Xtromass.....take your own advice sweetie...the emails sent to the pioneers state May 30th...this has been confirmed on the dnl boards. How rude!

    The point is. No one said it will come may 15th. It was said SoG will close may 15th

    yup, thank you and I apologize. You are correct. It said SOG will end May 15th and not DNL start. My bad and again I apologize. In my zeal of laughing so hard, I didnt correctly see this. They certainly could not have set that page up and not give the pioneers a starting date. Assuming. ouch!

    Is it honestly gonna take them another two weeks to simply transfer the database tho? So from April 1, to April 27th now May 30th.

    What I dont get is why do they delay soooo close to the promised release day? They knew about the problems well ahead, A month ago they said all was on track for the April 27th release. Hows come 1 day before that date, they delay again citing problems and to be 'sure its a good working game'//they knew it wasnt a month ago. Hell, they knew it wasnt at SOG release. They knew it wasnt 3 years ago!!! Why do this to their customers?

    almost the whole game is finished. Only thing they're strugling with is the faeries. And apolegy accepted^^

    You played Star Wars Galaxies?  Are you angry with them about what they did with the game and how they handled themselves.  If the answer to this is yes, then stay far away from DnL and anything from Farlan/NPCube.  They will screw you just the same.

    Who the heck is putting down the cash to produce this game?  How much longer can they afford to just piss money away?  Maybe they have a very creative accountant who actually gets the devs to pay them to code the game?

    if anyone buys this game they're an idiot. Farlan are playing you all for suckers, i hope this company fails with dnl, as they dont deserve to have a successful game. heck i quit in january after seeing sog, i cant believe people are still hanging around for this piece of crap.

    It pretty much has failed in every aspect possible. They have close to 300,000 registerd members on their forums how many actually post and still have their mindless "Vision" of a great game?.. about 50-100 that still play SoG and hope for their dream game. DNL is doomed I won't be suprised to see the devs shut down shop within a year.

    Got a gut feeling it aint gonna be May 30th either. In the E3 (just happened in the last few days May 06) review regarding DNL, the writer wrote that DNL said the game would be released LATER THIS YEAR. Not at the end of the month, not in a couple weeks, not in 16 days but LATER THIS YEAR. Think we all need to order some more seats and popcorn....

    I don't see this scenario, you whine because they delay, though it's positive. A proof they DO something at least. You would whine even more if it was released WITHOUT the delays.

    I'm sorry but this is wrong, and I'm neither a fanboy not a hateboy, just watching and waiting.  A delay is not proof they do something, it is only proof they delay.  You hope they delayed to fix something, but simple a delay is proof of nothing.  Actually many, many people would think the exact opposite, they delay because they have done nothing or very little.  Either way we will wait and see.

    Aye totally agree. Seems we have a few main dnl boards trying to treat this board like they do their own. A delay is simply that. A delay. A delay could infer that something needs to be done, that nothing has been done or that nothing really ever will be done. A major mistake by them once again by waiting until the day before release to say they didnt feel it was ready and alluded to a sickness for the reason. Very poor way to treat any customer whether it be a potential customer or fanboi/hateboi. It can be inferred that one day before release they decided it still needed work, that this must have been known weeks, even months in advance or there was no intention of that release date at all. What you call "whining" is in fact taking ppls money and handing them nothing. Several ppl months and months ago predicted this very same scenario and it came as predicted, completely. I think that is where the "anger" these ppl are displaying towards those that have this company and its "game" figured out.
