There's really no way for anyone to suggest to you whether any of the other schools will be to your liking. What I really suggest you do is to start another character as a specialist of each of those schools. Play around with it...see if you like that type of school. If you really like the way that type of school works, then you'll have a better chance of liking that hypbrid class. You don't need to do this for the melee characters (Berserker, Crossbowman, Spearman) because these are simply (offensive, balanced, defensive) melee types.
Other melee type classes could include: Berserker, Spearman, Crossbowman. Each of these tend to focus specialization in the warrior class.
Other hybrid type classes could include: Battlemage (flame), Chaos Warrior (energy), Knight of Creation (summoning), Paladin (life), Reaver (spirit). These will use magic (school) as their secondary skill.
If you're going to try switching schools, the sooner the better. If you climb too high in your current level it will be a lot harder to gain some levels in a spellcasting school. I wanted to add a few levels of Mage to my Spearman so I could cast Flame/Ice/Energy Attack spells (changing my damage type to the type I cast). It was a rough switch for a little while, as I was Rating 14 at level 1 mage.
You might want to try Reaver. Awesome power as a melee character with a little spell casting involved. Besides lvl 20 in warrior you need to get to level 15 in spiritist before turning reaver. Its been a fun character for me. Good luck with your decision.
