Eldar scrolls online
Mortal Kombat realms oh and trust me they could do it
gundam online or outlaw star online
a final fansasy online that would not be midevil but a hybrid like FF7 and ff8 and ff10 with machines and guns aswell as swords and magic and like eq's god governing characaters they could have aeons's, GF's or whatever you want to call it govern the character. you could be governed by ifirit, shiva, odin and so on.
Vampire of the masquerade online
robotech online
these are just a few things i wish would be turned into mmorpg's if a gaming company really tried they could be good my opinion.

I agree with a Vampire or World of Darkness MMO.
I would also like to suggest Mech Warrior Worlds, Command and Conquer Online, and World of Diablo.
Brady Bunch Online i want to be oliver
I'd have to put a big hell yes onto the idea of a Vampire MMO, a la World of Darkness. Maybe the Outlaw Star Online too.
What would be interesting is if they made Anarchy Online 2.
Never, ever. As it's been said a billion times, it wouldn't work.
I would like to see a D&D Forgotten Realms based MMO personally. DDO Stormreach is an insult to the D&D brand.
No longer visiting MMORPG.com.
A Horror MMO - with actual real time situations Zombies slowly advancing to cities and it's up to you and whole bunch of other players to stop them from advancing...
Good idea,eh?
I know i hope someones steals it
Qoute: "I neva *ucked anybody over in my life, who didn't have it comin' to 'im, you got that? All I have in this world is my balls, and my word, and I don't break 'em for no one, jou understand?" Tony Montana
Ofcourse you would, Noob.
Oliver = EZmode.
Edit- And for the record, all the hardcore players would be Jan.
FFXI has always had guns and machines (You want machines, you should hang out in Bastok more). They've even kicked that up a notch with the new character classes in Treasures of Aht Urhgan; Corsairs use guns heavily, and Puppetmasters have mechanical pets to use in combat.

{(RIP)} SWG
EDIT: Howabout a Skies of Arcadia MMO? Though...Pirates of the Burning Sea might make up for even that...
A new version of a Star Wars MMO, without SOE's CU and NGE, just the "old version" of SWG came back to life from a whole different company, like NCSoft (done great this, like GuildWars/ CoH/CoV). With more planets, community was awsome in SWG, more professions stuff like that. I really would like to see that (just becasue i am a Star Wars'holic).....
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
heres one,
Set in a fantasy world...
you start out and pick one of two factions, you create your char. and every stat starts the same, and you get an extra 30 or so points to spend as you want. evryone starts out in the same position, trying to protect your crops from the other faction (idk how the story line might go maybe both factions believe the other is stealing their land or something) at this point evryone is the same "class" fighting with maybe a pitch fork? but every level you get 5 more points to spend into your stats after level...say 5? the army wants to inlist you into a minute man you then get to choose if you want to be long or short range the army gives you a sword and shield or a bow. you start doing quests for the army trying to help the people keep their crops after about level 15 you get to pick another "spec" say if you chose long range you could then choose ranger or caster if you choose close range you can choose warrior or assasin. once again you set out do deafeat the other faction, or maybe doing some odd job quests for the guy down the street... after level 30 you get to choose even more specific classes such as...
*caster~into~sorcerer or Wizard*assasin~into~nightstalker or infiltrator*ranger~into~scout or hunter*warrior~into~paladin or berzerker
at level 40 (last level) you get your "master ability" witch is specific to each class...
there are some details to be worked out but hey i thought it up in like 20 mins
tell me what you think
OOOO
This is just begging to be made into an MMORPG. It has all the elements, factions, quests, everything right there. The arguement, "books never make good MMO's because everyone can't be the hero," doesn't apply because there are thousands of shadowrunners, each book has a hero but sheesh there are a ton of books.
*drools at the thought*
Loved the nintendo and sega games too hehe
Venge Sunsoar
Fallout (or Gamma World RPG)
Dune
World of Darkness (At least Vampire the Masq.)
Mechwarrior would be nice.
Firefly (woot, I'm there)
I can't wait for Stargate Worlds.
Uh not sure about above posters Waterworld idea though.

PARANOIA
I have to plug this idea every time this subject comes up. A MMORPG where you have 6 clones and the goal is to kill all your teammates while kissing enough butt to be promoted fits perfectly with the current MMORPG mentality.

Diablo 3
Final Fantasy VII Online (somehow)
Kingdom Hearts (somehow)
Tales of Symphonia
Just some Console games I loved
Yes please. It would be the kewlest MMORPG ever, but who would you pick to make it? Considering how awesome Auto Assault is, I would love Net Devil to develop it. Make it a hardcore challenge where soloing is possible but very difficult and let NCsoft bring it out.
That would be so fantastic.
I would take the concept of Soul Caliber 2 and make a MMO. Basically a Kung Fu game that requires training to earn new moves. As you acquire moves you need to fight other players with similar abilities before you can 'graduate' and move to the next skill set.
Crafting would be a slow and tedious process and very open to experimentation. Crafted weapons would have the name of the creator. Crafters would become famous for their particular style swords, knives, etc.
Gameplay would basically be similar to the Kung Fu television show with players wandering from town to town and assisting in small quests. Cities would be instanced but the roads between cities would not be (the reverse of GW.) PVP would be totally open when moving from town to town.
And the best part? Perma Death. If you get killed its time to create another character. But your soul is reincarnated so you maintain some skills and experience.
The Soul Caliber element would enter in the end game. After players have achieved all the skills in their particular line of martial arts they would battle in the arena for fame. Arena battles might end in death. So, your uber wu shu guy might get killed and you're back to the character creation screen.
Adds a new element to pvp doesn't it?
