first delete this file (backuping it before) and run KnightOnline. Probably it will not run again, but read the message. Then take the dll and place again in the

If these steps wont work, try to download the last patch manually. If you cannot find that patch avaliable to download, re-install and before that delete all Knight Online registry at execute... > regedit (caution with that) by searching "knight online" in the registry.
In last instance, I think you will need to run system file checker. Put your Windows Xp CD in the drive, open a command prompt and type: sfc /scannow
Windows checks to see if any critical files are damaged. If so, SFC will replace them.
